Intimacy is not build base on the number of years you know someone or how you heard others told about them, or how you talk to about them to others but on how long you spend with a person talking and finding out about the person from the person not from others.
As the year is drawing to a close and a new year will get started soon and you are daily spending the time allotted to you by God here on earth.
He asked me to ask you, have you known me better this year?
Have you developed more intimate relationship with me or you just had more activities this year with my name.
He wants a relationship not a religion.
I have had to talk with couples from different part of the year,
No husband or wife seems to be happy with a spouse running all over making a lot of money for the family at the expense of their person time together.
They enjoy the money, live in the big house, and drive the cars but still unhappy and empty.
That is what the bride of Christ had become in our days.
We have more prayers meetings; more programmes more days to attend religious activities.
They had even fixed programmes in all your spare time but yet God still empty staved from you not developing a relationship with him.
All the activities God yes but let see which he prefer.

Now as they went on their way, Jesus entered a village and a woman named Martha welcomed him into her house.
And she had a sister called Mary, who sat at the Lord’s feet and listened to his teaching.
But Martha was distracted with much serving and she went up to him and said, “Lord, do you not care that my sister has left me to serve alone?
Tell her then to help me.” But the Lord answered her,
“Martha, Martha, you are anxious and troubled about many things, but one thing is necessary. (Relationship) Mary has chosen the good portion, which will not be taken away from her.”
You can serve me as long as forever and another person may be in another state that I spend time on phone gisting with daily, that person will know the deepest part of my heart more than you in my house.
This is exactly what is happening in many marriages today.
Service is good and had it great reward, but on God scare of preference, him building intimacy is first in His priority list.
So what do you do then, you do service but create time for personal work with God.
Let there be advert on any programme by any level of title of any man. God is greater that all men.
All programmes are not for you; work more with the Holy Spirit, let Him lead you.
Whatever you do make sure you create more time for you.
He is staved of you, you are too busy with an activity, which is why your story have not change so much.
Most of the big breakthrough in your life, and great revelations that will change your will always be from personal encounter.
Most of the challenges you will face in life you will be alone, u better develop how to know God alone.
Also, death is lonely, when your time comes to met God, I will not be there neither will any pastor, or friends taking time, to help defend you that they fixed your life up with programmes and that was why you could not create time to hear His heart on what he send you to do for him on earth.
You think you just came in here to spend time and go, do you know not fulfilling your assignment on earth could lead you to heal.
The story of the unfaithful servant that was told in the bible, what do you think they did. They did not make profit with the treasure giving them. And they we’re send to hell.
He says I miss your time with him; he says you should leave religion and build intimacy with him.
Religion was the reason most people did not believe in Jesus while he was here,
They kept asking him, are you greater than our father Abraham that told us to do this or that, and are you greater than Moses that gave us this law.
Humans always prefer to follow the harder laws men gave them the Gods simple recipe.
Build relationship with God today and you will have peace in every other relationship.
