What is sex:- Sex is an act of intimacy that God designed to bring fulfillment in marriage. Sex is a covenant renewal between a man and his wife. God designed a man and his wife to constantly be in harmony, He designed sex to constantly renew that covenant that says is you I have chosen out of billion people in the world afresh. That means within the marriage institution, the more you constantly have sex, the more bond you create with your partner.
God is the one that designed sex and purposely created a male organ to be different from a female organ for that purpose. He thought of sex for human when we did not even know we will have need for it. The most unfair thing to do to our self and our maker is to use sex against our creator.
DISADVANTAGE OF PRE-MARITAL SEX AND SEX OUT OF MARRIAGE.
- It delays marital destiny: There is nothing that hinders speed in marriage to a single person like pre-marital sex. Yet a lot of singles are trapped in this. It like a norm now in our society. People get into a relationship and before you know it they start having sex without fully knowing the partner. You never really can know any man or woman you are sleeping with, you will think you know them but only know them in the flesh.
Nobody values things that cause them nothing, when you give someone today what is meant for tomorrow, he or she usually do not value it.
Example of you getting into the university and they give you first class honor in your year one, you will no longer burn night candles for it.
Pre-marital sex defiles your marital destiny. The bible says in 1 Samuel 2:30 “Far be it for those who honors me I will honor but those who despise me shall be lightly esteemed.
1Corintians 6:19 says “Your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost; so if you keep defiling His temple, He will not honor you with marriage.
He says marriage is honorable to all, but bed undefiled. Even if you find yourself in marriage, you will never have the peace, honor, joy, prosperity that comes with marriage. You can never run God’s institution with devils ideal and succeed. The enemy is not bringing fornication your way because he cares about you having pressure; he is not the one that created sex. He wants you to do it outside God’s way to steal from you and to mock God. He is bringing another woman outside your wife your way to steal from you. have you noticed when men do not have money they love their wife and are faithful, the moment God starts blessing them with resources, the enemy will bring driller in form of a very hot lady to steal the blessings.
- It limits your impact and your greatness on earth: God was recently taking me through series of Revelation about my identity and authority in Him. A revelation that will blow your mind and also attract criticism from people that are deep in religion. He told me there is no more Anointed person on earth, we are equally anointed but in different areas.
He says in John 1:12 “As many as received Him, to them He gave power to become the sons of God” “As many” “He gave the power to be the sons of God” so many that receive Jesus and believe His name become like Him.
I said to God, if there is no more anointed person, we are equally anointed, why is it that papa Adeboye will say something it will happen and I say it sometimes it will not happen; and He said two things:
- It takes more than a decade to achieve greatness. That is to say when papa Adeboye or any person you feel they are more anointed was one year in the Faith started, he consciously was building up his faith, improving himself, his authority in Jesus, he kept building and using his faith to purchase houses, healing, power etc. if he can do that for thirty years what he must have use his faith to purchase will definitely be more than those that started purchasing five years ago.
- Their attitude to the authority and privilege Jesus has given them: the same thing that I do shall you do even greater things than this. So when you are involve in pre-marital sex or sex outside your marriage, the time you will use to build your faith will lead to greater impact, you are using to pursue sex while the other person that is busy building and purchasing with their faith will over time do more impact and greatness because it takes time to achieve true greatness.
- It makes you vulnerable to satanic attack, even death and brings financial hardship.(Jeremiah 5:7-10, 17, 24, 25.) 9 Exodus 23:25)
- Your sin of adultery and fornication can bring trans-generational curse
Parable of Jesus in Matthew 18:25 about a man that was indebted but the master have to sell his wife and children to pay off his debt. Most times, there are some sins you commit that your wife and children pays for; one of them is the sin of adultery. When the hardship comes, your family suffers with you.
- It takes you from God kingdom. 1Corintians 6: 9-10 “Know you not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived; neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterous, nor abusers of themselves with mankind; that is homosexual shall inherit the kingdom of God.
In verse 13 now, the body is not for fornication but of the Lord.
Sexual sin is one of the most tempting sins in the world because it comes with a lot of emotions and feeling that look as though is out of this world. But you have to look at your destiny and the beauty the greatness and the kingdom of God which actually start now, the authority and choose if you will sell off; I will advice you like God did, choose life.
