I will be sharing with you what marriage actually stands for in the life of human and what God intended it to bring to Human life as well as the spiritual mystery behind marriage.
As a single person, this will help you to choose wisely knowing that marriage is more than just physical attraction and as a married person this topic is to will help you to know what to guide against as well as what to enjoy.
Let Go to the Genesis of a man and woman union.
Gen 1:26 (26 And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the birds of the heavens, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.
27 And God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.
God said, (the word God appear to be one entity) let (us) (one person is saying us that means He is not one but have other members) make man in our image, after our likeness; let them have dominion over the fish of the sea( means they will have dominion in sea, in air, in land, in desert)
So God created man in His image, in the image of God, He created them Him, male and female created them.
Any time you see him in most cases in the bible, it referring to a male and female together. Just like when God is referred to as Him, does not mean the God the son and Holy Spirit is not longer among God’s members.
Do you understand that?
Now in our image, after our likeness, what does God really mean?
God is one but have three members, so God design man as one but three members, Man, woman and the Holy Spirit
(Malachi 2: 15 English standard version ) and did He not make them one, with a portion of the Spirit in their union? And what was God seeking? A Godly offspring.
So you see why divorce is the order of the day, some sees a woman today in a club propose to her and get married to her without the third party being in it. So from day one it programme not to succeed.
So marriage was created exactly after the format of the Trinity. In facts every thing about man, man is made up of Spirit, body, and soul. Fluid in human body Is blood, water and oil
So to have dominion over all the areas of life, it only through this union.
Marriage is God anti – poverty program. That was why the period Adam was only in the garden, he was just a labourer, he eats and works but God did not pronounce A blessing until the physical institution of marriage was established.
Adam himself was just a keeper, Nothing was his.
(Gen 2: 15) The Lord God took the man and put him in the garden of Eden to work it and keep it. And the Lord God commanded the man, saying, “You may surely eat of every tree of the garden,)
It was after the institution of marriage he bless them.
( Genesis1: 28) And God blessed them. And God said to them, “Be fruitful and multiply and fill the earth and subdue it, and have dominion
29: And God said, “Behold, I have given you every plant yielding seed that is on the face of all the earth, and every tree with seed in its fruit. You shall have them for food. And to every beast of the earth and to every bird of the heavens and to everything that creeps on the earth, everything that has the breath of life, I have given every green plant for food.” And it was so.
You cannot be married and be hungry, or be limited, it is against the institution.
You have been given grace to reproduce. That is why he gave you fruit with seed in it.
What does seed do to reproduce after itself.
This is the reason, satan is attacking marriages, make you to disobey the order of entry so he can reduce the power the union bring and the authority it command.
If marriage was formed after the trinity, to operate in true authority it must operate the like God.
The attribute of the God.
1: they are in constant Communication: Let us make man, let us go down and change their language.
At redemption it’s obvious it was communicated,
The Holy Spirit Came upon Mary to enable her to conceive the son, the son physically died for Us all.
The father was in heaven making sure He answers all the prayers of the son. When the son was going back to heaven the Holy Spirit was given to us again to comfort us till the end.
To enjoy peace in your union, you must communicate everything. Don’t ever assume the other will understand.
Lack of communication is the reason for the turbulent in most marriage that eventually lead to divorce.
It has never be heard the trinity had disagreement because they are in constant communication.
So couples communicate, but the issue is they had made up their mind on an issue before even discussing it.
If you want a peaceful discussion keep your mind open until you discuss it.
If you are sure that is what God want you to do and your spouse disagree tell the Holy Spirit which is among your members to convince your spouse.
When I was about making the decision to leave banking to full time ministry my husband did not agree at first, I told God to convince him, if He is actually the one speaking to me to resign.
Three days later he called me to say, if that is what you really want to do and you are sure of it, I will support you in whatever way.
2: they are always in agreement:
The reason most homes are not progressive is because they are always in disagreement.
Satan does not need to fight you That much if he can sow the seed of disagreement among your members.
To have dominion on earth as couples in the area God have predestined you to dominate, you must always be in unity like the trinity.
A kingdom, house, divided against itself cannot stand.
Genuine communication will help you break the cord of disagreement.
3: They operate in equality: the God the father, son and Holy Spirit are all the same, but have different faction.
A man, his wife are the same, but has different position in their home.
When marriage was initially establish God did not say anything about ruler ship, because there is no rulership among His own members.
It was when sin came that he cursed the woman,” he shall rule over you”
That was the time marriage began to fail because it was under a curse, the institution was in a default period.
It was no longer like God.
Woman was now abused, dis-valued. People began to own them like commodities; marry two wives, one man to one thousand woman.
God saw the effect of the curse was too much on man, He sent His son to redeem man to his original state.
Now there is no more ruler ship but leadership and Jesus show us how to lead, he led by serving others.
John 13:5 (Then he poured water into a basin and began to wash the disciples ‘feet and to wipe them with the towel that was wrapped around him.
He came to Simon Peter, who said to him, “Lord, do you wash my feet?”
Verse 12 “When he had washed their feet and put on his outer garments and resumed his place, he said to them, “Do you understand what I have done to you?
You call me Teacher and Lord, and you are right, for so I am. If I then, your Lord and Teacher, have washed your feet, you also ought to wash one another’s feet. For I have given you an example, that you also should do just as I have done to you.
If for any reason you rule over your wife, you have by yourself adopted a cursed life.
How to enjoy your choice of your God ordain spouse
1: Ask God for him or her ( commit your way to God, he will direct your part)
(Isaac Servant Genesis 24 14) the young woman to whom I shall say, ‘Please let down your jar that I may drink,’ and who shall say, ‘Drink, and I will water your camels’—let her be the one whom you have appointed for your servant Isaac. By this I shall know that you have shown steadfast love to my master.”

3: Take sin away from the process (sin will blind fold your spirit, and will make you not receive the right signal from your spirit.
